Alex Cohen is in his first full season working with Marquee Sports Network, the television home of the Chicago Cubs.
He serves as the play-by-play broadcaster for select regular season and spring training games and contributes to Marquee’s digital content.
Before joining Marquee, Cohen spent seven seasons as the lead radio and television play-by-play broadcaster for the Iowa Cubs, the Triple-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs.
In 2023, he was honored as the Ballpark Digest Broadcaster of the Year.
Beyond baseball, Cohen broadcasts select men’s basketball, women’s basketball, and softball games for various Division I universities on Fox Sports, ESPN+, FloSports and radio for Learfield/IMG.
Since 2015, he has been a freelance broadcaster for the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC), calling baseball games in five different countries.
